My recent stay at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf was enjoyable, thanks to the beautiful surroundings and attentive staff. However, I encountered quite a few challenges, particularly with the room location and some service inconsistencies. The dining options were also less appealing than in previous visits, which slightly detracted from the experience.

I stayed in Villa 21, which was far back in the resort. This made it inconvenient for me and my three-year-old, as we had to use buggies or the Abra frequently. The room itself was cozy, though the air conditioning could have been better.

While the staff were generally friendly and welcoming, the service lacked some of the special touches I had come to expect, like the welcome card. The butler service was hit or miss; I often used the e-butler service since it was more efficient.
